Our Story
We are a registered charity, run by an enthusiastic and dedicated group of parents / guardians and staff who volunteer their time to provide and assist in the provision of facilities at the school that are not normally provided by the Local Education Authority.
Membership
Is open to parents of past and present pupils, staff, representatives of the school and its associated bodies, and to any friends of the school. Meetings are held once a term and all are welcome to attend. The more the merrier!
What Do
The Friends Do?
Our aim is to raise vital funds for our school by hosting and organising fun events for all our children and their families to enjoy. Examples of these are the summer fete, our very popular gift wrapping days, Christmas disco’s and parents summer ball to name just a few.
There is, in our opinion, no better way to get involved with your child’s school life and be able to contribute in such a direct, hands on way. If you would like to join in, or maybe just find out a little more, then please do come along to one of our meetings. You would be very welcome and we could always do with more help.
And if you can’t help The Friends directly that’s no problem, you can contribute to the school by coming along and enjoying the events that we put on throughout the year!
